Prayer is an act of giving our attention to God in a two-way spiritual relationship where we speak and listen to Him. Prayer is like a child’s conversation with his father. Then, is it not natural for a child to ask his father for the things he needs? If it is true that an earnest man’s prayer can move mountains, then let us pray with faith for our new church building. Let us offer up every situation and every person to God through the intersession of our patron saint, St. Jude, that we will not be discouraged and will be able to overcome all inevitable obstacles with His help.
